Olá heróis,
Muuuuuito tempo depois da nossa última atualização, estamos de volta. Eu gostaria de pedir desculpas a vocês por essa demora.
O que nós fizemos até agora?
Bom, a resposta é obvia: trabalhamos pesado no beta. Parte do que faz Battlefield: Heroes único são a igualdade entre as Facções e o site. No jogo, nós estamos ouvindo todos os relatos dos sortudos beta testers, que estão ajudando muito no balanceamento do Gameplay, descobrindo os bugs, e melhorando a qualidade do jogo em geral.
Na outra parte do Battlefield Heroes temos o website, que é parte importante do jogo.
Nós estamos trabalhando duro em partes do beta que estão além do jogo. O som está ruim? Vou tentar explicar: Você conhece o velho ditado sobre os icebergs de que só vemos 10% que estão sobre a água, e os outros 90% estão sob a água? No Battlefield Heroes é parecido. Você tem acesso a 10% do jogo, e os 90% ocultos é o que chamamos de 'backend'.
Nós recebemos muitas informações de nossos beta testers. Agora estamos prontos para ingressar em uma próxima fase. Na noite de sexta-feira (6pm CET) nós vamos fechar a fase Beta atual e passaremos nosso foco para melhorar o backend. Então por um tempo não haverá Beta para jogar. Nós esperamos reabrir o beta no começo de 2009.
O nosso agradecimento especial a todos os beta testers que nos ajudaram e muito com informações sobre balanço e bug e nos últimos meses. Sua ajuda foi inestimável para nós.

Hoje temos para você outra grande atualização do Project Reality.

Como muitos de vocês devem saber hoje é o dia da Lembrança (Remembrance Day), onde comemoramos o sacríficio feito pelos soldados, em conflitos do passado e do presente, para preservar a liberdade da qual gozamos todos os dias. Apesar de o Project Reality ser só um jogo, não nos deixa esquecer os homens e mulheres que morreram no passado, e também desses que estão nas linhas de batalha atualmente. Por favor mostre seu apreço por eles com 2 minutos de silêncio.


-Project Reality v0.85 Patch de Atualização
Com o lançamento do PR v0.8 nós obtivemos muito feedback no forum sobre as mudanças que fizemos nessa atualização e nós também vimos o que funcionou e o que não funcionou no jogo. No geral a Equipe PR está muito feliz com o caminho trilhado pelo PR v0.8 , na nossa visão foi mais uma atualização bem sucedida. Como sempre, tivemos alguns bugs e falhas no Gameplay na versão 0.8, na v0.85 nos focamos em: ajustar, melhorar e corrigir os erros. A Equipe PR trabalhou duro corrigindo os diversos bugs encontrados, muitos deles descobertos pelos membros do nosso fórum. Nós também estamos de olho no futuro, evoluindo o gameplay e adicionando novos elementos e aprimorando os elementos adicionados na versão 0.80.


-Objective Peach
Desde que o modo Objective Peach foi jogado, e o grande sucesso que teve, nós mudamos um pouco e criamos uma equipe dedicada de [R-COM]'s para garantir que vocês tenham um bom Gameplay. Mapas foram modificados, atividades adicionadas, e essa experiência promete ser nova para todos da comunidade PR. A Equipe, com a comunidade, foram trabalhando para garantir que dariam o melhor a vocês, e eu acho que vocês vão ver que ele fizeram isso. UN Peacekeepers nossa mais nova Facção vai garantir que você tenha bons jogos, e vai te dar uma nova opção, antes de puxar o gatilho !! Para maiores informações va ao fórum: Community Match.



-RAF Chinook HC2
Planejando os futuros lançamentos, nós criamos o RAF Chinook HC2 para as Forças Britânicas. O Chinook é muito importante para o Exército Britânico atualmente no Afeganistão; Transportando e fornecendo as forças terrestres no deserto de maneira rápida e efetiva. Por fim, nós mal podemos esperar pra vê-lo voando com o [R-DEV]Dr Rank's 'Sangin' em um futuro não muito distante. O modelo e a testura são trabalhos do [R-DEV]Stigger, nós estamos trabalhando pesado no Chinook, como vocês podem ver, realmente está tomando forma!





-Army Air Corps Lynx AH7
E como o Chinook não é o bastante, nós estamos trabalhando em outro helicóptero, o Lynx AH7. O Lynx é conhecido pela sua velocidade e agilidade, vêm servindo o Exército Britânico desde 1978, e de continuar com a atualização Super Lynx que entrará no serviço em breve. O Lynx vai atuar como Helicóptero de transporte leve / utilitário no PR. Infelizmente, nós não vamos fazer uma versão equipada com os mísseis Anti-Tanque TOW, sendo estes retirados em favor do Apache, que cumpre melhor a função de suporte aéreo. Modelado por Wybl & [R-DEV]foul_killer e a Skin feita pelo nosso mais novo desenvolvedor, [R-DEV]Pride, como um teste, se saiu muio bem.

Foi lançado no último sábado, dia 08/11/2008 a versão 1.5 do mod Battlegroup42 ou simplesmente BG42. Mais a frente está a lista completa das modificações introduzidas no mod.

Hardware Requirements/Performance Tips:


- We strongly recommend at least 1024MB RAM and a video card with at least 128MB RAM and a CPU with at least 2 GHz

- Do not try to play online with a connection speed lower than DSL/Cable.

- Close ALL unneeded background applications which are using bandwith and/or memory, like file-sharing programs,
file managers, e-mail programs, browsers etc. Make as much RAM available as possible.

- Check your ingame graphics and sound settings. Reduce the sound quality and screen resolution if necessary.

- defrag your complete hard disk at least once a month

- Battlegroup42 1.4 and following builds only run with 44kHz setting, 11 and 22 kHz are no longer supported, mainly
for reasons of mod size and the fact that even "cheap" onboard sound chips can handle 44kHz without problems.

Hoje foram disponibilizados pela IGN novos vídeos mostrando um pouco de jogo com a Browning e com o Lança-Chamas:





A Browning aparenta ser muito mortífera, o lança-chamas é uma das armas mais esperadas do jogo, agora é esperar a versão final para poder testar essas duas armas dignas do Rambo, já que a versão Beta limita os jogadores ao nível 40, o que não permite o desbloqueio dessas armas.

Olá, seja bem vindo a outra atualização do Forgotten Hope. A atualização de hoje mostra o avião Hawker Typhoon e algumas screenshots do M10 Tank Destroyer. Essas duas armas Aliadas ajudaram e muito na guerra contra os tanques pesados do Eixo como o Tiger e o Panther.
Aí está o Hawker Typhoon, feito pelo Agus.
O Hawker Typhoon foi feito originalmente para ser um avião de combate, mas quando comparado ao Supermarine Spitfire em 1941 pode ser observado que o Typhoon era muito inferior. Somente em 1943 quando os problemas tinham tinham sido corrigidos e a demanda por aviões de combate já não era a mesma, os Typhoon's foram transformados em bombardeiros de combate. Graças a potência do poderoso motor Napier-Sabre, o Typhoon podia levar até 1000KG de explosivos. No fim de 1943, os Typhoon's foram equipados com mísseis, 4 em cada asa. Essa variante de míssel foi muito bem sucedida na Normandia. Um total de 3300 Typhoons foram fabricados durante a guerra.
Agora temos 4 screenshots tiradas no jogo com o : M10 Tank Destroyer, modelado pelo Agus, exportado e codificado por Kev4000.
